O'Neill, Wearable Computing

Das Projekt beinhaltete Gesamtkonzept, Interface und Produktdesign der ersten interaktiven Snowboardjacke. Im Auftrag von Interactive Wear von O'Neill hat Plasmadesign 2004 das Interaktionskonzept, das grafische Benutzerinterface sowie das Industriedesign für diese Jacke mit integriertem MP3-Player entwickelt. O'Neill ist ein international ausgerichteter Hersteller von Sportbekleidung und erkannte als erster Sportbekleidungshersteller das Potential von Wearable Computing. www.oneill.com

Overall concept, interface and product design of the first interactive snowboard jacket were part of this project. On behalf of Interactive Wear of O'Neill Plasmadesign designed the interaction concept, the graphical user interface (GUI) and the industrial design of this jacket with integrated mp3-player in 2004.
